I have been a mortgage associate for the past three years in conjunction with owning and operating my own business, Faith Electronics for the last 15 years.

Being a self-employed individual has taught me a lot about how financing works. I realized that the banks do not have all the answers. When it was time to get my commercial mortgage, my local bank could not help me because I did not fit into their criteria for lending. I went to a mortgage broker and they showed me that they wanted my business and found me a mortgage to fit my needs. They treated me with respect and I felt comfortable in dealing with them. I decided that this would be a great opportunity to make a career change. This would allow me to help others like myself that had difficulty at the bank trying to get a mortgage.
